I hired Cowboys after my insurance company refused to conduct a proper inspection on my siding and roof after the hail damage of August 2024 in Calgary. My insurance company offered me 7k to fix the roof and said the siding was fine. I called the owner of Cowboys (Tom) and explained the situation and that I felt the insurance company was preventing the repair of the home. Within 5 days, Tom had a crew at my home and gave me over 15 pages of photos and the documentation required for a full roof and siding replacement. My insurance company ended up paying 4.5x the original amount. The great work didnt stop there. The various crews (roof and siding) were fantastic. They kept me the loop the entire time. The work was completed in a timely manner and the people were upstanding (Tanner running the roofing and JD running the siding). I obviously don't want to require this type of work done on my home again, but if it required? Ill be calling Cowboys Roofing! Thanks Cowboys for the brand new home.

Have now had Cowboys do both my shingles on the roof and my gutters/eavestroughs - their teams that came out were awesome and respectful to me and my property. A couple of glitches with timing and notification to me, but I reached out to Tony and he was awesome. He was very responsive and took care of me with just a quick text over to him. Would recommend them for anyone looking for roofing.

Five stars isn’t enough for Cowboys Roofing Last year’s hailstorms left my house with major damage — roof, siding, gutters, fascia, the works. I called my insurance, then reached out to Cowboys after spotting their sharp-looking trucks around Calgary. Best decision I could’ve made. From the first call, the owner Tom (you deal directly with the owner, how rare is that?!) was hands-on, honest, and completely transparent. No upselling. No inflated BS. Just straight talk and reassurance that it's gonna be OK. They handled everything from start to finish, stayed in constant communication, and somehow had my roof done before most of my neighbors’. They even guided me to get upgraded shingles at no extra cost. The work was clean, professional, and done right the first time, I did not have to ask them to return for a single thing, not once. I had a million questions, and Tom answered every one of them without a hint of impatience. Considering Calgary’s unpredictable weather, I expected delays and headaches but they stuck to their schedule and gave me notice well in advance every time they were planning to do the next phase of the repairs. These guys genuinely understand what it’s like to go through a loss, and they’re on your side every step of the way. If Cowboys Roofing ever needs a slogan, that’s it for you: "On your side." We worked with Cowboys Roofing for the hail and wind damage on our home after reaching out to multiple contractors. We picked them because they were professional (had proper contracts to outline our business relationship), provided us fair quotes and were reliable (came to provide an estimate when they said they would, sent us final quotes in a timely manner, showed up to work when they said they would). We knew what to expect once the contract was signed. There were delays when the work could be started (weather-related) but it was communicated to us properly. I am by no-means an expert in roof or siding work but the little things I noticed that made our experience very positive include: - Roofing guys cleaned up as they went. We have a dog who loves to run around the yard so we were concerned about him getting hurt but they did a great job cleaning up after themselves. - After the roof was complete, we had 2 follow-ups later in the week: their quality check guy went up on the roof to inspect the work, and a second guy came by to make sure we were happy with the cleaning job. - Before the siding work started, one of their guys knocked on our door. He said he was worried that the siding color noted on the job info was not correct so he came by before materials were delivered to double-check on the color. I'm glad he did because they did have to change the siding color slightly and now it blends in seamlessly with the original. They also changed the whole face of the damaged side of the house, instead of individual siding pieces only. - After the soft metals work was complete, we noticed an issue after it rained a fews days later. We informed Cowboys and they sent a team back within 1 week to fix it. Overall, we're very grateful and lucky we picked them out of our other options. The whole process went very smoothly for us from start to finish. Our neighbours told us issues they had with their contractors (one took weeks to return to fix an issue on the roof after it was replaced, another neighbour paid way more than what we did for a similar scope of work). We had nothing but great things to say.
